Education Ph.D. (IIT Madras, 1988) M.E. (IISc Bangalore, 1983) B.Sc. (Engg.) (College of Engineering Trivandrum, 1981) Course Offered Undergraduate: Kinematics and Dynamics of Mechanisms, Engineering Optimization, Robot Kinematics and Motion Planning. Experience Senior Professor : Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram (July 2009 onwards – on leave from IIT Bombay). Faculty : Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (February 1988 onwards – currently Professor, served as Associate Dean R&D from August 2006 to July 2009). Visiting Scholar : University of Delaware (2004-05, on sabbatical from IIT Bombay). Engineer Trainee : Tata Consulting Engineers Bangalore (August 1983 to February 1984).
Research Interest
Kinematics of Mechanisms, Dynamics of Rigid Body Systems, Optimal Design, Automatic Control, Robotics, Aids for Rehabilitation.
