Biography
Dr. M. Salman Khan has received my Ph.D. in Medical Biochemistry from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, INDIA in Dec’2008. Currently he is working as Assistant Professor, Department of Biotechnology in Integral University. He is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals like International Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis and Journal of Bioscience and Medicine. He has authored more than seven research articles in international journals and currently also working as a reviewer for several international journals. Dr. M. Research Interest
Presently I am working to find out the possible mechanism of role of natural products and their bioactive compounds in combating various free radical mediated diseases including atherosclerosis, hyperlipidemia and diabetes in animal and human models. In addition, I am also working on mechanistic aspect of drug interaction with key enzymes/proteins in above disease models and to develop new analogues with the use of bioinformatics.
