Biography
He is actively engage in deciphering out the molecular and cellular mechanism of various risk factors induced cardiovascular disease/diabetes and also to discover out the lead natural bioactive molecule in combating these diseases as well as other free radical mediated diseases in vitro and in vivo. Moreover, he is also working on mechanistic aspect of drug interaction with key enzymes/proteins in above disease models and to develop new analogues via molecular informatics study. In addition, he is endeavoring to elucidate role of advanced glycation end products in the pathophysiology of diabetes leading to atherosclerosis and to probing out the natural AGE’s inhibitors to stop the menace of glycation.
