Biography
Pursued PhD from Department of Parasitology, Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow. Her research involves discovery of antifilarial drug/vaccine targets using both genomic and proteomic approaches. Identification and chemotherapeutic as well as liposomized antibiotic targeting of endosymbiont Wolbachia bacteria and molecular studies to elucidate the host parasite relationship. Various natural and synthetic products were also being investigated for immunomodulatory activity.Research at Integral University involves macular studies of innate immune mediators;in-silico approach towards designing of a potential immunomodulatory compound; role of pattern recognition receptors in disease development.
