Biography
Dr. Dhananjay Srivastava is a Public Health specialist with more than 8 years of experience in research and public health programs in India and abroad. He obtained his MBBS from SN Medical College, Agra and MPH (Field Epidemiology) from National Center for Disease Control, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Delhi. Dr Srivastava worked with WHO – India, Jhpiego – an affiliate of Johns Hopkins University and Ministry of Health – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He has academic experience as ‘Demonstrator’ in Community Medicine Department of Government Medical College, Haldwani, Uttrakhand. Prior to joining IIHMR he was serving Ministry of Health – Saudi Arabia as an ‘Advisor’ and leading research activities of National AIDS Program at national level. He has also participated in implementation of Sero Prevalence Study and Mucosal Immunity Study (Randomized Controlled Trial) which was conducted by WHO – India. Dr Srivastava published several scientific papers in journal of repute and one manuscriptnamed ‘Physical Disability in Rural India’. He is also pursuing his PhD in the area of ‘Disease Surveillance’ from IIHMR University Jaipur.
