Biography
... although the work we did was often tedious and sometimes frustrating, it was generally great fun ... and joy to get an understanding to what seemed initially a great mystery." This quote from Christiane Nusslein-Volhard's Nobel lecture nicely sums up scientific research. With research experience in mouse-models to understand human diseases and pediatric cancer at National Institutes of Health and Georgetown University Medical Center respectively, I joined INVICTUS with the objective of finding improved therapeutic-intervention or diagnostics for Indian cancer patients through better molecular understanding of cancers associated with Indian populace. On this platform I can explore and amalgamate clinical and pre-clinical research, and for me INVICTUS begins with an "I" denoting innovation and ends with "US" representing a highly motivated team of researchers in our fight against cancer.
