Biography

I acquired my B. Tech degree in Biotechnology from IIT Madras in 2006. I went to Rutgers University, NJ, USA for M.S. in Biochemical Engineering. For my Masters thesis, I worked under the supervision of Dr. Richard Ebright to find "Target(s) of transcriptional regulators ppGpp and DksA". While pursuing my masters, I gained experience in teaching Biology and Genetics too. I worked at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, NY for 3 years as Process Development Engineer in the purification group. Since my return to India, I have joined Invictus Oncology's pioneering vision to produce a novel cancer drug from India. Invictus provides its scientists with a mix of freedom and responsibility. Working here is respectful and satisfying not only professionally but also personally as we attempt to help those battling cancer around us.
