Biography
Dr. Pradip Sinha received his Ph. D. from Banaras Hindu University in 1983. He joined IIT Kanpur in June, 2001 to found the Department of Biological Sciences and Bioengineering (BSBE), which was formally established on 13th September 2001; he served as its Head for the period 2001-2010. Prior to joining IIT Kanpur, he was a Professor of Life Sciences in D. A. University, Indore. He was also a Fellow of the Humboldt Foundation at German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) Heidelberg (1990-1991).
Research Interest
His company InvivoD Solutions is currently incubated at SIIC, IIT Kanpur and is a start-up under the umbrella of Faculty Entrepreneurship Program of IIT Kanpur. He is a recipient of Biotechnology Ignition Grant (BIG) of BIRAC (DBT).
