Biography
Praseeda Mol obtained her M.Sc. degree in Biochemistry from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala. She worked on bioactivity studies of pectic oligosaccharide derived from Cicer arietinum in Central Food Technological Research Institute, Mysore. She qualified national competitive examinations such as Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering and CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test in life sciences. She has been a lecturer in Mahatma Gandhi University and Research Assistant in DBT-BIRAC funded project at Kerala Agricultural University prior to joining IOB. She is funded by INSPIRE fellowship to carry out her Ph.D. studies by Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. Currently she is involved in proteomic analysis of neurological disorders and proteome map of human brain at IOB and NIMHANS-IOB laboratory.
