Renu Verma

Biography

Renu Verma obtained her M.Sc. degree in Biotechnology from University of Mysore. She worked on “Analysis of mutations in non-small cell lung cancer” at Bangalore Institute of Oncology in Bangalore. She also carried out genomic and proteomic data analysis while working at the Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology in Bangalore. Prior to joining IOB, she also worked as a Junior Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore on "Restriction analysis and epitope mapping of two human T-cells stimulatory antigen of Mycobacterium tuberculosis." She is funded by a Junior Research Fellowship from UGC, Government of India. She is currently involved in analysis of secreted antigens from Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
