Biography
Prof. Devang V. Khakhar is PartTime NonExecutive Independent Director of IndianOil Corporationration Ltd. He is the Director of IIT Bombay and Professor of Chemical Engineering. Professor Khakhar did his B.Tech. from IIT Delhi in 1981 and Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1986. He joined the Department of Chemical Engineering at IIT Bombay in January 1987 and was with the Institute since then. He serves on the Science Advisory Council to the Prime Minister of India Scientific Advisory Committee to Cabinet and Atomic Energy Regulatory Board .
