Rahul Deshmukh

Biography

Dr. Deshmukh has 11 years of teaching and research experience in the field of Pharmacology and overseeing the college operations like: Teaching, Educational assessment, Animal house and Research & Development. He has Guided >30 M. Pharm students and currently two doctoral fellows carrying out their research under his supervision. Dr. Deshmukh has published several research and review articles in internationally peer reviewed journals, books, book chapters, delivered invited talks & published abstracts in national and international conferences. He is a reviewer for various reputed journals including Pharmacological Research, Sch. Arch. of Pharmacology, European J of Pharmacology, PBB, Behavioral Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Biology, and Neuroscience Lett. etc. Dr. Deshmukh fetched research Grants from Govt. agencies and designed & conducted research protocols funded by industries. He is coordinator of various institutional committees’ viz., Research Advisory Board and Institutional Ethics Committee and regulating entire departmental operations. Dr. Deshmukh has expertise in neuropharmacology, metabolic disorders and toxicology and is a expert consultant for Industries & ISF Analytical Laboratory for protocol design and implementation. Dr. Deshmukh is a thorough professional with a proactive attitude and capable of thinking in & out of the box. He support and sustain a positive work environment that fosters team performance with strong communication and relationship management skills.
