Dr. Mukherejee had comppleted Ph.D in 1997 from Jadavpur University. He is specialized in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Chemistry of Natural Products ,Drug development from natural resources, Traditional medicines inspired drug development.

Traditional medicine inspired drug development , Validation of Medicinal plants , Metabolomic study, Chemo profiling of medicinal plants and other natural products, Quality control and standardization, Formulation of natural products as therapeutic agent,Lead finding from natural resources, Scientific validation of ISM drugs, Therapeutic & pharmacokinetic profiling of herbal drugs, Safety evaluation and Pharmacovigilance study
