Biography
His research carrier started in the year 2004 as a Research Associate/Study Director-Toxicology, R&D Center, The Himalaya Herbal Health Care, Bangalore. He underwent extensive training to conduct toxicity studies according to GLP. His carrier started in JSS as a Lecturer in the year 2007. Since then besideshis teaching responsibilities hehas interacted with many Pharmaceutical Industries and successfully completed 35 research projects worth more than Rs. 80.0 Lakhs. His research interest includes, CADD, Metabolic disorders, Herbal drug research and Preclinical drug development. Currently, 6 Ph.D., Scholars are working under his guidance and he has guided 25 M.Pharm., students till date. He received “Summer Research Fellowship-2014” from Science Academies, Govt. of India. He received travel grants of Rs. 1,55,000/- (ICMR, TNSCST & CICS). As a Principal Investigator He is currently carrying out DBT sponsored Major Research Project (Amt. Rs. 72,19,600/-).
