Biography
Dr.R.Vadivelan has been awarded Ph.D. JSSU, Mysore in 2013 and also recognized as FIC from ICS, Kolkata. Completed FELASA Accredited CCLAS course at TANUVAS, Chennai. He has got 15 years professional experience and area of research is Diabetes Mellitus and Parkinsons disease .He had organized various national conferences and workshops on Alternatives to Animal Testing and CAL Techniques with support from funding agencies. He has made 20 presentations, published 20 National and 12 International research publications and authored one book. He had guided 21 PG students and guiding 02 Ph.D scholars. He is the Honorary secretary, IPA, Nilgiris branch and Life membership of IPHA, IHPA, IPA and LASA and other significant contributions are Principle Investigator (PI) carried out consultancy work on preclinical studies such dermal, diabetes and toxicity studies etc., and CPCSEA Nominee, Scientist In charge of animal house (IAEC) .
