Biography
Mr Sankar Sundaram is the Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry in Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeshwara University.Research interests on natural products chemistry, especially for the plants from and around the Nilgiris district, Tamil Nadu. He has been working in the durian fruit and the roots of Derris Brevipes. Sankar has been researching the Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs especilly those concerning Intellectual Property issues facing the industry. Sankar is admitted to practice before the Intellectual Property Office of India and is also a Patent Facilitator under the StartUp India programme.
