Research Interest
The work in our group falls within the realms of conservation biology and functional ecology. We study animal behavior and movement ecology mediating seed dispersal, plant invasions and garbage impacts. Research is being pursued in four broad inter-related areas of ecology and conservation biology: 1. Examining the effects of landuse change on seed dispersal processes 2. Examining species-environment relationships at community scales 3. Addressing complexities in ruminant-plant interaction networks 4. Examining ecological implications of improper waste disposal
