Biography
During her teaching career of more than 14 years, she taught subjects such as Database Systems, Compiler Design, Theory of Automata, Data Structures, Computer Programming, and Database& Online Social Media Security. Shehas attended many conferences, workshops and presented posters/papers. She is actively involved as reviewer for IEEE transaction on service computing, many international journals and conference proceedings. She has organised faculty development programs and is currently coordinator of master program (mobile technology) at JIIT. Shewas actively involved in organizing International Workshop on Databases in Networked Information Systems (DNIS), Aizu-Wakamatsu, Japan in year 2010, 2011. She received Japanese MEXT Scholarship from Apr, 2009 - Mar, 2012. She has been awarded with Gold Medal in M.Tech (CSE) Convocation 2004 by Honorable Pranab Mukherjee (Former Finance Minister of India and now Honorable President of India). She achieved Indian Government Scholarship for Master’s Program in 2002. She qualified Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in 2002. Her aim is to mount Women in Engineering. She is member of Association of Computer Electronics and Electrical Engineers (ACEEE), CSTA and openEHR organization. She has guided approximately 80 post graduate and graduate project thesis. At present she is supervising 4 Ph.D. scholars.
