Biography
Amit Kumar received his M.Tech degree from Indian Institute of Technology Patna in 2016. He is currently a faculty member in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Jaypee University Anoopshahr. He has been awarded the Chairman’s Gold Medal from the Indian Institute of Technology Patna for outstanding performance in M Tech. He is also the recipient of the Institute Silver Medal from the Indian Institute of Technology Patna for outstanding performance in M Tech. He has been awarded DAAD Scholarship for the period of September-2015 to March-2016. He has seven months research experience at TU Darmstadt, Germany. During his Masters, he has worked on the collaborative project between IIT Patna, India and TU Darmstadt, Germany. His submitted system ‘IIT-TUDA’ in SemEval-2016 for Task 5: Aspect based Sentiment Analysis was one of the best systems. He cleared UGC-NET in July 2016. He has secured 99.7 and 99.5 in GATE 2013 and GATE 2014 respectively. He was the district topper in board examinations.
