Biography

Dr. Mukesh Chandra was born in Chamoli, Uttarakhand. He did M.Sc. in Physics from DAV College Dehradun (HNB Garhwal Central University). He obtained his M.Tech and Ph. D. both from IIT Delhi, in 2002 and 2007, respectively. He had received GATE and NET fellowships from MHRD, India, for his Master of Technology and Doctoral studies at IIT Delhi. After completing PhD, he joined a post-doctoral scientist position in POSTECH, South Korea (BK21 Fellowship by South Korean Government, 2007-2008). Later he moved to Europe (ESF Fellowship (2008-2010) and European Union Mobilitas Fellowship/grant (2010-2013) for continuing his post-doctoral research work. From July 2013- July 2014, he has worked as assistant professor in Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College, Ghaziabad (UPTU). He has 15 years of research and teaching experience. He has published several research papers/articles in the peer reviewed International Journals and presented/delivered talks in various international/national conferences held in different countries across the globe. He is member/life member of professional societies (Asia-Pacific Chemical, Biological& Environmental Engineering Society (APCBEES), MRSI India), and active reviewer of many International Journals. Dr. Mukesh Chandra is working as Assistant Professor of Physics and Material Science in Jaypee University Anoopshahr from July 2014. He is also working as Chief Warden of Boys Hostel, Jaypee University (July 2014-Present).

Condensed Matter Physics; Semiconductor Physics; Magnetic, Multiferroic and Microwave materials; Nanotechnology.
