Biography
Dr. Gavendra Norkey has completed his B.E. in MECHANICAL ENGINEERING from M.I.T.S, Gwalior (M.P.) and M.TECH. in PRODUCTION ENGINEERING from M.I.T.S. Gwalior (M.P.). He has about twelve years teaching experience at various prestigious institutions in India. He has also about two years industrial experience. He is awarded PhD degree in 2014. The title of his PhD dissertation is “Optimization & Experimental Modeling of Quality Characteristics for Difficult to Laser Cut Aluminium Alloy Sheetsâ€. His area of interest is Laser Material Processing, Nonconventional Machining and Design of Experiment techniques in various advanced machining processes for modeling and optimization. He has taken expert lectures on quality, material handling and maintenance in short term courses on cement production & quality Control. Dr. Norkey has several publications in national and international journals/conferences.

Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Design of Experiments techniques in various advanced machining processes for modeling and optimization, CAD/CAM and Fluid Mechanics.
