Biography
Dr Subas Chandra Dash received his B. Tech. degree in Mechanical Engineering from JIET, CUTTACK, BPUT, ODISHA, INDIA, M.Tech Degree in CIDM from MECHANICAL Engineering Department, N.I.T Jamshedpur. He received his Ph. D. Degree on 6th November 2015, thesis entitled “incompressible confined swirling flow in a cylindrical cavity with rotating lid under the influence of axial temperature gradient or axial magnetic field” from I.I.T. Khargpur, West Bengal, India. He also worked as an Institute research scholar at IIT, Kharagpur, about 3 years and 5 months (Jully 2008- December 2011). He was awarded with Silver Medal from NIT Jamshedpur in 2008 Convocation as the topper of Mechanical engineering Department in M. Tech. His M.Tech Research work is “Numerical analysis of natural convection in a porous annulus”.
Research Interest
Computational fluid dynamics, Turbulence modeling (Large eddy simulation, DNS), Effect of surface radiation on Convective Heat Transfer, Magneto Hydrodynamics.
