Biography

Dr. Yashwant Kumar Modi completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial and Production Engineering in 1998 from Shri G. S. Institute of Technology and Science, Indore, Madhya Pradesh. He obtained Master of Engineering degree in Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) with honours from the same Institute. He was awarded Ph.D. degree in the area of Additive Manufacturing by JUET, Guna, MP in 2014. He has about 13 years of teaching and 3 years of industry experience in various engineering institutions and industries. He has served Institute of Management Studies (IMS) DAVV, Indore and Shri Vaishnav Institute of Management, Indore as visiting faculty. He has delivered many invited expert lectures in various educational institutes and industries like IIT BHU, Tata International Ltd. Dewas and Jaypee Cement, Rewa. He is working with this University since September, 2009. He has published one book and many research papers in peer reviewed international journals (SCI and Scopus indexed) and presented papers in international and national conferences. He is also the reviewer and member of the editorial board of a couple of peer reviewed journals. He has guided more than fifteen B.Tech projects and four M.Tech thesis so far. Three PhD scholars are pursuing research work under his supervision currently.

Additive manufacturing (Rapid Prototyping), CAD/CAM/CIM, Manufacturing Processes, Operation Management, Operation Research and Industrial Engineering.
