Biography
Mr. Shiva Shankar has completed B-Tech (Civil Engineering) from Acharya Nagarjuna University in 2008 and M-Tech (Civil Engineering with specialization in Environmental Engineering) from Indian Institute of Technology Banaras Hindu University (IIT BHU) in 2011. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D on defluoridation of groundwater using low cost materials. He has seven years of professional experience in teaching and construction field. He joined JUET as lecturer in December, 2011. During this tenure he has worked on various areas like municipal solid waste management, sustainable construction, water conservation and low cost wastewater treatment and published various papers in journals and conferences of national and international repute. He has delivered keynote lectures in workshops organized by MPPCB (Guna), CMPDI (Ranchi) and JUET, Guna. Presently he is serving as the expert member of District Level Expert Appraisal Committee (DEAC) for the clearance of mining projects (< 5 hectare) for Guna and Ashok Nagar districts.
