Prof. Vipin Tyagi

Biography

Dr. Vipin Tyagi did his post graduation in 1989 and Ph.D. in 1999 under the guidance of Prof. V. K. Agarwal, D. N. College, Meerut. He did his M.Tech. Project on Speech Recognition under the guidance of Dr. S. S. Agarwal at CEERI, Delhi. He started his teaching career as lecturer in July 93. He joined Mody Institute of Technology and Science (A deemed University), Lakshmangarh (Rajasthan) in July 1999 as lecturer in Computer Science and became Asst. Prof. in June 2004. He was a member of senate of MITS and Board of Studies. He joined JIET, Guna in July 2005 as Asst. Prof. He has organized many technical and literary events successfully. He has guided a large number of BE, MCA and M.Tech. students for their projects. He has guided three Ph.D. students successfully and guiding three Ph.D. students at present. He has published many papers in International journals and has presented many papers in International and national conferences. He is elected as Vice-President (M.P., Rajsthan, Gujrat) of Computer Society of India. He is a senior life member of Computer Society of India, Fellow-IETE, Indian Science Congress Association and Remote Sensing Society of India, IEEE. He has attended 4 short term courses on various topics. He was elected as President of Engineering Science Section of Indian Science Congress Association. He also worked as member of management committee of Computer Society of India-Bhopal Chapter, executive committee member of IETE-Bhopal center for year 2010-12. He was also MP State Student Coordinator of Computer Society of India.
