Working as Assistant Professor (Senior grade) in Department of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics at JUIT; Principal Investigator in DST under SERC fast track scheme for young scientists at Advanced Biotechnology Centre HPKVV Palmpur (2004- 2006); Research Associate at Advanced Biotechnology Centre HPKVV Palmpur(2002- 2003); ICAR NET 2004; Ph. D from DR YSPUHF Nauni Soaln (2002)
Research Interest
My research interests include i) development and validation of PCR based DNA markers. ii) Exploration and screening of microalgae stains suitable as feedstock for biodiesel production iii) use of recombinant DNA technology and genetic engineering for expression and production of hetrologous enzymes and proteins in microbial and plant expression systems
