Biography

Dr. Ashish Kumar is B. Tech. in Civil Engineering from Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology (KNIT ) Sultanpur U P , M. Tech. and Ph. D in Civil Engineering with specialization in Hydraulic Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IITR). He joined the Department of Civil Engineering at Jaypee University Waknaghat in May 2006 as Lecturer in Civil Engineering. Currently he is Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering. He is member of various Technical Societies including Associate Member of Institution of Engineers , India; Life Member of Indian water Resources Society (IWRS), India, Indian Society for Hydraulics (ISH) , India and Indian Geotechnical Society (IGS) , India. He has over 10 years of teaching / research experience. His area of interest is Fluvial Hydraulics. He has published a number of research papers in referred National and International journals of repute.
