Biography
Dr. Papia Chowdhury is Associate Professor in the Department of Physics. She has done her M.Sc. from Department of Physics Jadavpur University and PhD Physics (Molecular Spectroscopy) from Indian Association for the Cultivation of Sciences, Kolkata. During her doctoral research period her research interest was on the outcome of photo dynamics of some industrially applicable organic bi-chronophers in different environments including some organized assemblies. After doctoral study she has started research collaboration with various research groups of India and abroad like Indian Association for the Cultivation of Sciences (IACS), Jawaharlal Nehru Centre Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR), Bangalore, BITS, Department of Physics, Freie University, Berlin, Germany etc. She has also started collaboration with Indusry like Hind High Vacuum Pvt. Ltd Bangalore and Bruker India Scientific Ltd, Kolkata etc.
