Biography

Rajesh Kumar obtained his M.Tech. from IIT Roorkee and Ph.D. in Physics (Nanotechnology) from H.P. University, Shimla (India). He joined Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT) in 2004. August 2007 to September 2008, he has worked as a researcher in the Center for Superfunctional Materials (CSM) at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH), South Korea. Currently, Rajesh Kumar is an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) at the Department of Physics and Materials Science in JUIT and Visiting Professor at GIST, South Korea. He is visiting Kyushu University, Japan as a Visiting Scientist (on a DST-JSPS sponsored collaborative project). His current research topics are Synthesis, Characterization and Application of Nanostructures, fabrication of Transition metal Nanostructures on silicon substrates, Thin film formation of Magnetic Nanoparticles for Spintronic Device Application, Super-Resolution Optical Microscopy, Nanostructures analysis using High Resolution Microscopies.

Research Interest

High Resolution Scanning Electron Microscopy (HRSEM) installed with EDX. Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM). High Resolution Transmissions Electron Microscopy (HRTEM) and Scanning Tunneling microscopy (STEM) (JEOL 2100). Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) (Dimension 3000). Sampling for the TEM measurements. Magnetic Force Measurement (MFM). Magnetic Property Measure System (MPMS).
