Biography
Dr. Sandeep Chhoker has worked at Thin Films Laborartory, Physics Department, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi for his PhD and completed his doctoral thesis on topic “Growth and field emission properties of carbon nanostructures synthesized by microwave plasma enhanced CVD process†successfully with Prof V. D. Vankar as supervisor. He is also a recipient of JRF and SRF awards from CSIR.. Dr. Sandeep Chhoker joined JIIT from July 2010 as lecturer in Department of Physics and Material Science and Engineering. He has published several peer reviewed articles and attended international and national conferences. His current area of research is vacuum sysnthesis of hybrid-oxide 1D, 2D nanostructures for optical, sensing and catalytic applications. He is also reviewer of international Journals like Journal of Alloy and Compounds, Ceramic International, Material Chemistry and Physics, Journal of magnetism and magnetic materials, Journal of nanoparticle research, MSE-B etc.
