Biography
APS Chouhan (born as eldest son of late Raja Arvendra Singh of Khod and Rani Keshavi Raja on December 25, 1956 at Christian Hospital, Nowgong, District Chhatarpur, MP). Studied in Sainik School, Rewa, graduated in Science from Government College, Shivpuri and PG in Political Science from Madhav College, Gwalior. Also studied at Centre for Soviet & East European Studies (now Centre for Russian & Central European Studies) School of lnternationai Studies, JNU, New Delhi. Completed Ph. D. from Jiwaji University, Gwalior on "Soviet Approaches to the Problem of Peace & Security in Asia.'' He taught at Govt. College Bina (MP) and MLB College, Gwalior at Under Graduate and PG level. Joined Jiwaji University in 1994 as a reader in Political Science.
Research Interest
He is working on structure of theory; and is also actively engaged and crusading against girl child foeticide, infanticide in Gwalior-Chambal region and is actively engaged in generating awareness among Sahariya tribe (in Shivpuri & Guna district of MP) on issues related to their rights, health conditions, education and their survival.
