Biography
Prof. Ashok K. Jain (Born on April 2, 1952 at Ashok Nagar, (M.P.) did his B.Sc. (1972) , M.Sc. (1974) and Ph.D. (1978) from Jiwaji University, Gwalior. Presently he is professor of Botany and Hon. Director, Institute of Ethnobiology at Jiwaji University, Gwalior (M.P.). He was awarded Junior Fellowship by UGC In 1976. He also did LL.B from the same university and later 'Certificate Course' in German language from Maxmuller, New Delhi. Prof. Jain started his research for Ph.D. degree on the topic Vegetation of Chambal ravines.
Research Interest
He focused his research on biodiversity, palynology and aerobiological aspects
