Biography
Dr. Gupta did his Ph.D. from Bhopal University in 1991. He has been the recipient of various research fellowships from UGC / DST. He has six years of post-doctoral research experience. He has been a visitor to Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics, Trieste (Italy) as scientist. He had been Junior Associate of the centre for four years. Currently, he is interested on the study of mechanical, electronic, optical, magnetic, and phase transition properties of materials and alloys under pressure / temperature through first-principles as well as modeling.
