Biography
Prof. Radha Tomar (born February 18, 1962) completed her B.Sc.(Hons.) Chemistry and M.Sc (Physical Chemistry) from Mumbai University in 1985 and obtained her M.Phil. and Ph.D degree from Jiwaji University, Gwalior in 1989. She has been awarded with Young Scientist Convention award of Indian Chemical Society, 1989. She joined Department of Higher Education in the Government college of M.P as Assistant Professor in January 1990 and as lecturer in School Of Studies in Chemistry, Jiwaji University, Gwalior in October 1993 and presently working as Professor in the same Department. She has completed many projects from DAE, UGC, MPCST and DRDO. She guided more than 20 students for Ph.D and M.Phil. degree. She has visited Italy to present a research paper in the International Clay Conference, 2009 and as an UGC Expert Committee Member for the approval of Deemed University, Private University, review of SAP programe & commonwealth fellowship / scholarship in the field of science and technology. She is life member of Professional Societies like AIEPA (USA), IANCAS-BARC (Mumbai), ITAS-BARC (Mumbai), ICS (Kolkata), etc. She has organized a number of conferences and workshops. She is member of board of studies of different institutions and academic activities. She is on the reviewer panel for a number of national and international journals such as Elsevier International Journal, USA, Springer – International Publisher Science, Journal of Indian Chemical society, Kolkata and Indian Journal of Chemistry, New Dehli.
Research Interest
Her research interest lies broadly in the area of synthesis, characterization and application of Mesoporous, Microporous and nanomaterials.
