Biography
Dr. Alok Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. He has over 5 years academic, research and industrial experience. He worked as researcher at Ghent University, Belgium and involved in the industrial consultancy. He was a Post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Mathematical Engineering of UniversiteCatholique de Louvain, Belgium and associated with the “Large Graphs and Networks” research group. He was involved in an EU-FP7 FIRE Project "EULER" with Prof. Jean-Charles Delvenne and Prof. Vincent Blondel. Prior to that, he worked briefly at Department of Computer Science and Engineering of National Institute of Technology Patna, India as an Assistant Professor. He obtained PhD in Information Technology from Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad, India and the topic of the thesis is ‘Geographic Inter-Domain Routing for the Localized Networks’. He has published several research articles in the international journals and conferences of repute. Dr. Kumar delivered many technical talks on different topics at various academic and industrial events.
Research Interest
His area of interest are legal and sport analysis, big data technologies, business intelligence, and network protocol design.
