Biography
Dr. Poonam Vyas is an Assistant Professor in the area of Technical Communication at JK Lakshmipat University, Jaipur. Dr. Vyas did her Ph.D. (English Language Teaching) from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani and MA (English Literature) from University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. She has been awarded a Project Fellowship of University Grant Commission (UGC) to work on UGC sponsored Major Research Project for two years. She has more than eight years of experience in teaching, training, research and consultancy. Prior to her stint with JKLU, Dr. Vyas served as a guest faculty at Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur and Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Kota.
Research Interest
Her research areas include Applied Linguists, English Language Teaching (ELT), Soft Skills, Professional Communication, Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL), and Social Media Communication.
