Biography

Dr. VIRUPAKSHI is currently working as a Associate Professor in the Department of Department of History, Kannada University , India. His research interests includes Cultural History of Medievel Karnataka, Vijayanagara; Hunting – Hunters, paleyagars, Tribal and Dalit Culture; Colonial, Freedom, unification movements, water disputes; Valmiki, Periyar and Ambedkar Thoughts. He /she is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. Dr. VIRUPAKSHI is the member of many international affiliations. He/ She has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities. He /she has authored of many research articles/books related to Cultural History of Medievel Karnataka, Vijayanagara; Hunting – Hunters, paleyagars, Tribal and Dalit Culture; Colonial, Freedom, unification movements, water disputes; Valmiki, Periyar and Ambedkar Thoughts.
