Biography
Mr. Paritosh Das has studied M.A. in Sanskrit with specialization in Shabdabodha Systems and Language Technology from Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha,Turupati. He has been awarded M.Phil from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi for his research thesis on “Index Based Search for Brihadaranyaka Upanishad” and published his research thesis entitled “Indexing System for Brihadaranyaka Upanishad A Computational Method to Build an Online Search Engine” from LAP LAMBERT Academic Publishing GmbH & Co.KG, Sarbrucken, Germany. He had also completed P.G.Diploma in Yoga Vijnana from Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, Tirupati. In graduation level, he studied B.A from Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira, Belur Math, Howrah. Currently he is pursuing Ph.D on “Semantic Knowledgebase of Shaktivada: A Computational Analysis” from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He worked in various Computational Linguistics Projects such as “POS Tagging in Sanskrit: A Critical Study”, “Dependency Treebank for Bengali and Hindi Language”.etc at LTRC, International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad. He has presented papers in several national & International Symposium, conferences and workshops and published papers on Indian Philosophy, Logic, Upanishads, Sanskrit Science etc. Presently he is working as Assistant Professor in Language Faculty & also Co-ordinating a consortium project on “A New Framework for Analysis, Generation and Translation in Indian Language”.
