Biography

Dr. Divyesh Shastri joined KBIPER in September 2006 as a lecturer in Department of Pharmaceutics & Pharmaceutical Technology. He has 11 years of academic and research experience in the area of drug delivery system. At KBIPER, along with teaching, Dr. Shastri is actively involved in research activities and he has published and presented his work in various national and international journals and conferences, respectively. He has guided more than ten M. Pharm. Students and eight under graduate students for elective project work. He has received research grant from KSV for research project on Nanoparticulate insitu gelling system. He has also delivered guests lectures in IPA and PCI Sponsored refresher course for registered pharmacist, AICTE sponsored staff development program, GUJCOST sponsored state level competitions. Dr. Shastri is actively involved in National Service Scheme (NSS) as a Program Officer, and coordinating work related to alumni association, industrial visits, and university examinations. Under his guidance and supervision, first time in the history, pharmacy students have received regional, state as well as Indira Gandhi National Awards in NSS and brought the name of KBIPER at national level. He also serves as a general secretary of Indian Pharmacy Graduates Associatiton (IPGA), Gujarat state branch and has been involved in the related activities.

Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical formulation Design, Ophthalmic, Nasal & Pulmonary Drug Delivery System, Oral floating Drug Delivery system, Nanoparticulate Insitu gelling system, Film as a Drug Delivery System.
