Mr. Syam K Ravindran

Biography

Syam K Ravindran is currently working as a Consultant and Assistant Professor of Clinical psychologist at KMC Hospital, Manipal. Has worked as Consultant and Teaching faculty at Department of Psychiatry, Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore from 2012 to 2017. He expertise lies in childhood behavioral problems, Anxiety disorders, Emotional & Psychological trauma and Personality disorders. He has undergone specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy used for patient undergone or has history emotional and psychological trauma. He is also trained in the clinical application of hypnosis. He is a professional life member of IACP (Indian Association of Clinical Psychologists); Indian Society for Experimental and Clinical Hypnosis (ISCEH) and registered member of Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). He has done his graduation in Psychology from Mumbai University, post graduation in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from the Department of psychology (School of Behavioral Sciences, Kannur University) and MPhil clinical psychology from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal
