Biography

Apart from routine haematology along with haemostasis and haemoglobinopathy work up, he has specialized in hematolymphoid neoplasms (lymph nodes and bone marrow), high end multi-parametric flow cytometry (8-10 colour) and molecular diagnostics. He has expertise in leukaemia, lymphoma and multiple myeloma diagnosis, minimal residual disease detection in leukaemias (B, T and myeloid) by flowcytometry and in molecular diagnostics, especially in real time PCR in CML and kinase domain mutation analysis in imatinib resistant CML cases. He has keen interest in clinical research applications of multi-parametric flow cytometry, molecular diagnostics and next generation sequencing in haematology.
