Biography
He completed undergraduate studies in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Bhupal Nobles` College of Pharmacy, Udaipur in 2006 and then moved to Nirma University, Ahmedabad and received masters in Pharmaceutical Analysis under supervision of Prof. Y.K. Agrawal in May, 2008. Subsequently, he joined to Geetanjali University, Udaipur as a lecturer in May, 2008 and continued till Dec. 2009. Afterwards, he joined, IISER Bhopal (Dec. 2009) for his doctoral studies in Dr. Aasheesh Srivastava`s laboratory and PhD was awarded on 1st June 2015. His research remained focused on the design and development of polyaspartamide based biomaterials for different applications viz. cytosolic peptide delivery, stimuli responsive polyamides, underwater adhesives and antimicrobial polymers. Since 2008, he has taught Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis; Chemical & Instrumental Analysis, Medicinal Chemistry subjects of pharmaceutical sciences to students of B. Pharmacy at Geetanjali University, Udaipur, Rajasthan. In addition to teaching conventional pharmaceutical chemistry courses, he has taught pharmaceutical jurisprudence, quality assurance. He enjoys and believes in interdisciplinary work. He is very zealous about contributing to high quality higher educational programs by emphasizing on (i) inductive learning approaches, and (ii) interdisciplinary & integrated curriculum.
