Biography

Dr. Krishna Kumar has a significant academic achievements. He obtained 1st class Master’s degree in Mathematical Statistics from Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur, C.G. in 1995 and secured 8th position in the University in order of merit in this examination. He has done his Ph.D. in Reliability Theory in 1999. He has worked as a Research Fellow in MAPCOST sponsored project , Lecturer in M.P. Bhoj (open) University, Bhopal (Pt. Sundarlal Sharma, Regional Centre, Raipur), C.G. , Lecture in SSITM, Aligarh , U.P., Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor in Lingaya’s Group of Institutions , Faridabad (NCR-Delhi). He has worked as a Warden in SSITM, Aligarh, U.P., Coordinator for MBA/MCA students, in MP Bhoj (Open) University, Regional Center Raipur, C.G. , Class counselor for B.Tec. in LIMAT, Faridabad, Presiding Officer in 15th Lok-sabha Election , Faridabad, Haryana , Course Coordinator, In charge/HOD, Dept. of Mathematics, LU , Examination Coordinator , Superintendent of Examination in LU and MDU , Editorial Board Member (Lingaya’s Jour. of Professional Studies, ISSN 0975-539X), Reviewer in Complain Review Cell, Mini-Secretariat, Sector-12, Room no-302, Faridabad, Haryana., Administrator in LGVKSIMT , Faridabad , Observer for JEE(MAIN) 2013, Ref. He has taught Higher Engineering Mathematics [B.Tech./B.E.], Numerical Techniques [B.Tech./M.Tech.], Quantitative Techniques [M.B.A.], Management Science/Operational Research (B.Tech./ M.B.A.), Polytechnics Mathematics, Advanced Mathematics for Pharmacists and Probability & Statistics [M.Tech./M.Sc.]. He has attended many Scientific Conferences and presented his original research papers. He has to his credit several research publications in the national and international journals of great repute. At present, Dr. Krishna Kumar is teaching in K.R. Mangalam University, Sohna Road, Gurgaon, Haryana as a Associate Professor in the School of Basic and Applied Science in Department of Mathematics. He enjoys and encourages creative interdisciplinary work. He is very passionate about contributing for creation of high quality higher educational programs by emphasizing on (i) setting up high expectations, (ii) pedagogies of engagement (iii) active and inductive learning approaches, and (iv) interdisciplinary & integrated curriculum.

Writing a book for the students of B. Tech. (Applied Mathematics) which is as per their course curriculum., Attend Conferences and Seminars for enriching my knowledge.
