Biography
Dr. Pawan Kumar, completed his B.Sc.(H) Physics and M.Sc. Physicsdegree from University of Delhi. During 2005-2007, he has taught Applied Physics course to B.Tech students at SITM, Lucknow. After that he joined Department of PMSE, JIIT, Noida for PhD degree. In 2010 he got prestigious Senior Research Fellowship from CSIR, New Delhi and worked full time as a SRF in CSIR-National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi where he has completed his PhD research work and got PhD degree on 17th June, 2013. He feels very fortunate to have Dr. H.K. Singh, Principal Scientist in CSIR-NPL and Dr. R. K. Dwivedi, Associate Professor in JIIT, Noida as supervisors for his PhD thesis.After his PhD, he got a Research Associate position at IUAC, New Delhi in June, 2013 where he got an opportunity to work with Dr. K. Asokan, Scientist-F, IUAC, New Delhi for his post-doctoral work on Swift Heavy Ion Irradiation Effecton Manganites thin films. He has published several research papers in International SCI journals. He also presented many research papers in international conferences. He also attended several workshops and conferences. On 15th July, 2014 he joined K. R. Mangalam University as an Associate Professor of Physics in School of Basic & Applied Sciences. He is currently teaching physics courses to M.Sc. Physics, B.Sc. (H) Physics, and B.Tech students. Apart from teaching he is also involved in research work and many activities of the University.
