Biography

Prof. Mandava Venkata Basaveswara Rao is working as Professor in Department of Chemistry ,Krishna University, INDIA . His research has included isolation and Synthesis of Biologically active molecules to explore their efficacy as drugs. Synthesis and Characterization of Nano materials, Biomimetic materials, molecular nanostructures and open framework materials. He has completed his Phd in Synthetic Organic Chemistry at North-Eastern Hill University(1997). He has received following awards, Andhra Pradesh State Govt. Best Teacher award 2011 Fellow Royal society of Chemistry (London) Fellow, Andhra Pradesh Akademi of Sciences Distinguished Scientist award, Association of Pharmacy Professionals (APP) Section President, Organic Chemistry, ICC, Hyderabad-2011 Elected as Member, Executive Body, Royal Society of Chemistry, London. Fellow, International Science Congress Association, FISCA - FM- 492  Selected for award of CSIR Senior Research Fellowship in the chemistry by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (EMR Division), CSIR complex, New Delhi. Bharat Jyoti Award, from IIFS through Dr. Bhishma Narain Singh, former Governor of Tamilnadu & Assam. Rastriya Vidya Gaurav Gold Medal Award from International Institute of Education & Management, New Delhi Bharat Vidya Shiromani Award from Indian Solidarity Council, New Delhi
