Biography
Dr. Ramesh Chandra Joshi has done his PhD Geography. Currently he is working as Professor in Kumaun University in Department of Geography. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities Head Department of Geography, Rajiv Gandhi University, Chairman Board of Under Graduate Studies & Board of Post Graduate Studies, Member of Faculty board, Mizoram University. His research interests are Geomorphology & Application of remote sensing in geo-science. About 59 research papers of his work were published in the leading National and International Journals. He also authored 2 books. He is the Life member of Hill Geographer, Shillong, Eastern Geographical Society, Guwahati, Deccan Geographer, Pune, Indian Institute of Geomorphologist, Allahabad, Arunachal Science Society, Corresponding member of Mountain Forum, ICIMOD, Kathmandu & International Association of Geomorphologist.
