"Dr. S.S. Bargali has done his PhD in Botony. Currently he is working as Professor in Kumaun University in Department of Botony. His research interests are Taxonomy, Medicinal Plants, Biodiversity. About 100 research papers of his work were published in the leading National and International Journals. He is life member of National Institute of Ecology, Delhi University Botanical Society, Bhartiya Krishi Anusandhan Samiti, The Indian Science Congress Association, OAKS, Department of Botany, Kumaun University, Nainital, Society for Plant Research."
