Biography
Dr. Naresh Kumar, presently working as Professor in University School of Management since November 2005 and has 35 years total teaching & research experience. His teaching interest includes the area of Organizational Behaviour, OC & OD, Training and HRD. 14 students have been awarded Ph.D. degree under his supervision and 25 research papers published in national/international journals in the area of biomedical waste management, women entrepreneurship, green marketing, Brand Loyalty, Human Capital Management and OB and HRD. Dr. Naresh Kumar regularly associated with NAAC as peer team member/member coordinator for the assessment and accreditation of more than 20 institutions (i.e. Universities, management institutes and engineering colleges). He has also been associated with DEC (Distance Education Council) of India for the approval of course through Distance Education by various universities. He is regularly associated as expert member with various committees of UGC (such as Deemed university appraisal, private university appraisal, approval of autonomous colleges, appraisal of affirmative action for central universities in Northern-Eastern states, major research projects approval and travel and other grants to colleges and as well as universities. He has been nominated to different universities as Chancellor’s nominee to Executive Counsels. He has been nominated member of Academic Council, University Courts to different universities and UGC member at Governing Bodies of Autonomous Colleges. He has worked as Director, Centre for B.R. Ambedkar Studies, KUK, Director as Mahatma Gandhi All India Services Coaching Institutes, KUK and was associates with CII, Regional Centre Chandigarh for skills up gradation/ development of students. He has worked as Principal University College KUK and Chairperson in University School of Management. He has also worked as coordinator (Distance Mode) KUK. He has attended and organized seminars while performing the duties in the above mentioned offices.
