Biography
Dr. PROF. S.K. CHAHAL has received his PhD in History. Currently, he is working as Professor in Kurukshetra University in Department of History. His research interests are Modern Indian History, Ambedkarian/ Dalit Studies, Regional Studies. He has authored 3 books. About 25 articles of his research were published in the leading National and International Journals. He is member of Indian History Congress, Punjab History Conference, Dalit Sahitya Academy, Under Graduate Board of Studies in History in various Universities, Post Graduate Board of Studies in History in various Universities, Faculty of Social Sciences, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, Advisory Committee, Centre for Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Studies, Kurukshetra University and State Archives Advisory Committee, Archives Department, Government of Haryana.

Modern Indian History Ambedkarian/ Dalit Studies, Regional Studies.
