Biography
For being a student of Indian culture and business management at the Post-graduation and Doctoral levels, Prof. S. S. Boora has developed fascination for the knowledge from the past and its use for the present. This scheme of unity has great bearing on his research activities in the field of tourism management, global, cultural and sustainable dimensions of tourism. His major areas of research interest are heritage management, CRM, Environmental and Sustainable concerns in tourism and hotel management streams. He did his post-graduation in Indian history and culture from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra and Doctorate from M.D. University, Rohtak. He pursued his Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from M.D. University, Rohtak. He pursued his Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from M.D. University, Rohtak. He is currently the editor of ‘Indian Journal of International Tourism & Hospitality Research’ published by the Department. He is also the Coordinator, UGC-SAP Programme being run in the Department. Besides, he is coordinator of MBA (Hospitality Management) programme being run through the Directorate of Distance Education, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. He has supervised number of researches at the M.Phil. and Ph.D. levels. He has a long experience of interactions and deliberations at the national and international seminars and conferences in the capacity of a resource person.
